1 ½<\/span> cups<\/span> potato starch or arrowroot flour <\/span><\/div>\n

1 ½<\/span> tbsp<\/span> olive oil<\/span><\/div>\n

Buffalo Sauce<\/div>\n

3<\/span> tbsp<\/span> (Red Hot) hot sauce<\/span><\/div>\n

1<\/span> tbsp<\/span> olive oil<\/span><\/div>\n

¼<\/span> tsp<\/span> salt<\/span><\/div>\n

¼<\/span> tsp<\/span> cayenne<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Press water from tofu
\nCut the block to end up with 8 equally sized strips <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Add ample potato starch to plastic bowl or tray<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Cover strips with potato starch until completely coated
\nToss in your hands to knock off extra starch, leaving one even layer <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Heat a grill or flat skillet to high heat <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\n

Add tofu strips to the hot grill with ample olive oil
\nSlide the strips around to create an even layer of oil <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Cook until GOLDEN and CRISP
\nThey should be slightly hard to the touch<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Flip and repeat the process<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This takes longer than one might expect, so be patient for the best outcome
\nEach side typically needs a minimum of 10 minutes <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Preheat your oven to 450F<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Prepare the buffalo sauce in a cup or bowl<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Let sit and cool for 5-10 minutes<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Takes buffalo strips out of the baking dish and let cool further before storing

Simply reheat the strip in a skillet or grill if they have been refrigerated
