About the Creators

 

DANNY KORMAN dreamed up Park + Vine while living in Chicago and opened the shop in Cincinnati in June 2007. Prior to this, Danny received a Bachelor of Urban Planning from the University of Cincinnati and has worked a series of rewarding jobs in program management for nonprofit organizations and government bodies.

Danny is a big architecture buff, urban explorer, nature lover, believer in supporting local economies, and steward for the environment and animals. He likes to prioritize his activities when they’re within walking or biking distance. Producer

 

CHEF ZEF is the founder of LifeGarden Productions and the producer of the Park + Vine Cookbook. He was also the Park + Vine kitchen manager for its final two years. Zef diligently revamped the menu and expanded kitchen serving hours. After meticulously developing multiple new menu items, Zef is delighted that these creations are now available in the Park + Vine Cookbook. 

Aside from being a plant-based vegan chef at HeartyVeganFood, Zef is a musician, the community organizer behind LifeGarden Productions, a lucid dreaming facilitator at Dreamswyft, and holistic wellness advocate. He has a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Promotion and a Certificate in International Human Rights from the University of Cincinnati. Michelle Thompson

MICHELLE T. is a graphic designer who specializes in book publishing (with a passion for cookbook design) and nonprofits. She studied art and design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Portland Community College, and Pratt Institute. Michelle lives in Cincinnati’s Northside neighborhood in an apartment she is fortunate to share with two rambunctious kittens and two comical little dogs.
